The Wisconsin River Academy is a community based school. The Wisconsin River and the surrounding Stevens Point area are the WRA classrooms. Students study, learn and interact in the community. There have been numerous community members who have come forward and willingly offered a part of their life, land, knowledge, or time for our studies. But we are continually looking for more community members to become involved. Whether you have a question, a simple story, an old photo of the river or would just like to visit our students in the field please contact us. During the 2006 - 2007 school year the Wisconsin River Academy will be making a big push to find and identify community members who know the area, the river and the people. We seek to share the history and change our Wisconsin River Valley with our students. Look to our website for further updates.
